Welcome to Doink. Doink is operated by Edgar Rodrigo Granados Alvizures ("we", "us", the "seller"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use and enter into a contract with the seller. Please read them carefully. This page is maintained by the Doink team and is not a substitute for legal advice.

1. The service

Doink is a bilingual nutrition and recovery tracking app that lets you log foods, scan nutrition labels with AI, track weight, and (optionally) sync data from your Whoop account.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Doink.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for the data you enter.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Doink to:

• Break any law or violate anyone else's rights.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its APIs.
• Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content.

4. AI nutrition scanning — not medical advice

The "Scan label" feature uses AI to extract nutrition data from photos. Results are estimates and may contain errors. Doink is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet or health.

5. Whoop integration

Connecting Whoop is optional. Your Whoop data is subject to Whoop's own terms and privacy policy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Whoop.

6. Doink Pro subscriptions & billing

Doink Pro is a paid subscription available monthly or yearly at the prices shown on the pricing page. New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial; you will not be charged during the trial and can cancel anytime before it ends. After the trial, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings or via the Paddle customer portal — access to Pro features continues until the end of the current paid period. Prices are shown in USD and may change with notice; changes never affect an active billing period already paid for. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle where required.

7. Payment processor — Paddle as Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Ltd). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles all payment processing, billing, sales-tax and VAT compliance, invoicing, and related customer service inquiries, and processes returns and refunds in accordance with our refund policy. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.

8. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on Doink Pro. See our refund policy for how to request one.

9. Intellectual property

Doink and its content, design, and code are owned by us. You keep ownership of the data you enter. By using Doink, you grant us the limited rights necessary to store, process, and display your data back to you.

10. Suspension & termination

You may stop using Doink and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations.

11. Disclaimers

Doink is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doink and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
